Introduction

The Offers page can be used to advertise surplus items you have on special offer along with the sale price. If another company wishes to buy an item, they can contact you directly. All items are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can also browse this page to see if there are any bargains you are interested in.

Offers Page

When you view the offers page the offers table displays the latest additions at the top.

The table displays information about the items and the companies offering them. (A next to a company name indicates that the company is a free trialer). You can click on the company name to be directed to their ‘Company Details’ page where you can see more information about the company. To contact the company directly about the offer click on the email icon or if the speech bubble appears next to company name you can send them an instant chat.The table can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the headings.

Adding an Item to the Offers Page

To add an item to the offers page, click on the ‘Add’ button in the Special Offers box or go to the bottom of the page where the ‘Add Offer’ Table is displayed.

Enter the part number and any description, the brand, price and quantity of the items you wish to offer and select the product type for the part. Once complete, click on the OK button. Please note that you may only add up to five special offers in any 24-hour period.

If you have more than five special offers or a batch of items to sell tick the ‘Lot’ box to identify your offer as a Lot.

Once you have added your offer the page will be redisplayed with the item that you added at the top.

Any items that you add can be deleted at any time. To delete a part number that you have added to the offers page, click ‘Delete’ in the ‘Special Offers’ box at the top of the page. This will then show your ‘Special Offers Listed’. You can then continue to delete any of your offers by clicking ‘delete’.

To view a list of your ‘special offers’ go to ‘Your Account’ and select ‘Your special offers’ from the menu. To return to the Offers Page, click ‘offers’ in the main menu at the top of the page.

Special Offers Search

To search for items on the offers page, click on the search facility in the ‘special offers’ box. Enter the part number. The search function works on data in the part column and the less detail entered, the more results are found. For example, to view all NU part numbers that have been entered into the offers page, enter NU in the part number search option and click OK. All the part numbers that have NU somewhere in the part number are displayed.

You can refine your search further by using the brand and country pull down menu. Additionally, you can set your searches to default to a certain brand or country by clicking the "default to these settings" button once you have selected your preferred brand/country.

Responding to a special offer

To reply to special offer, you can either send them an instant chat by clicking on the speech bubble by the company name

Or by clicking on the part number and clicking the at symbol to send them an email.
